About the Book

“When a storm rises in the ocean of your mind, become a Captain of your Ship and control the direction where you sail.”

Sorrow, we have all heard it and there is no doubt that today everyone has its share of sorrows either it be personal and/ or business. Sorrow can be also termed as pain. Sorrow is taken as a negative covenant but, how to make it positive not many are interested in understanding their sorrows/ pain. But, what exactly is sorrow? How do we overcome the same? The answer to this question can be found within oneself. The reason is that 99 out of 100 times, sorrow is caused by our own overthinking and expectations. We tend to put our sorrow at the top and forget the actual meaning of life and how to enjoy the life we are bestowed on as a gift. Most of the time even though we do not have a solution we still stress over the problem and even after having a solution we stress over the outcomes. This is a Cycle of stress which keeps on going and is further converted into sorrow. We take the burden of the sorrow and forget to delete it to lead a peaceful life. Nowadays we all are well acquainted with computers. Even the computer has three modes of deleting the data then why not we as humans who are the creator of this device delete and reset our life? Just as a computer has the option to delete files and put it into a recycle bin and thereafter there is procedure of defragmentation which if done the data in the computer can be taken as permanently deleted. Here, defragmentation to be taken as spirituality and if one knows how spirituality is a part of your progress, the growth is very near. Delete here means acceptance and recycle mean acting post acceptance and moving towards defragmentation.  We all live a delusional life which is filled with sorrow. We all should focus more towards clarity in seeing the world and always see the world without any filter of emotions in our mind. For example when we develop a cataract in our eyes, we see everything in blurred way disabling us to enjoy the beauty of the nature which can be removed by an operation. Similarly, by connecting with spirituality, one can remove the cataract that has developed in their minds and see a whole new world which awaits them and can eliminate the sorrow. We as humans should also be able to dispose of the emotion which troubles us into the Recycle Bin in our minds and Recycle it into positive and happy emotions. The other option is to completely delete it off by just not focusing on it and being involved in various other things which interest us. The last option is to reset ourselves which is not easily achievable but, with the right guidance from a scholar, one can reset themselves to not be affected to that extent.

India has been famous for its culture of Gurukul but under the name of modernization, we have lost the touch with our roots. This book is just like a Guru in Gurukul which one can read and understand through simple words and examples explained by the author. We all are so busy in our life that we have forgotten that just as the body needs food to survive, our soul needs words of wisdom which only can be achieved by interaction with great minds. The food for our soul i.e., the words of wisdom are missing or are forgotten, Thanks to our busy lifestyle and the Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO) a lot of the young generation is affected by it. This book in my opinion is just what one needs in order to overcome all of this and make our mind calm. This book can make one realise that the more one is attached, the more he faces these stressful situations in life. Hence, in order to be detached in an attached manner, and understand what it means one must read this book at least once.

Just as the name suggests, we are attached and stressed over menial things which lead to a disturbed life and create a diversion from our own goals. Just like with great power comes great responsibility, similarly, with huge success, we get a lot of mental illnesses such as Anxiety, Depression etc. This book teaches one to be attached in a detached manner. Through this book, one can understand how to live a peaceful life not only socially but also with their family and find inner peace.

Today’s generation has everything at their fingertips but fails to use that as a privilege instead they stress over little things and are persistently striving for achieving a goal they have set in their minds. After reaching the goal they set, they are not satisfied which ultimately leads to sorrow. This book teaches us to set goals accordingly and be contented. The examples are given in this book just a brilliant way of connecting our reason for stress with real life. This book not only gives you the reason for stress but also provides a way of dealing with it in a subtle way. Reading this book can bring about a positive change in the mind-sets of people and their glasses of seeing the world can be removed, thus enabling them to see all aspects of life. This book is a perfect blend of Reality with Spirituality.
